Good - Fresh - French Bread is everything and The Banh Mi Shop nails it. Lightly toasted - fresh - crisp veggies - flavorful - moist proteins - check all the boxes. Clean and inviting atmosphere. Friendly greeted upon entry. Was my first time - but will now be a part of my lunch rotation. I got the lemon grass chicken - on point (Will get double meat next time). Spring Rolls - got the Lemongrass Chicken (apparently its a lemongrass kind of day) - was nice size - and filled with fresh veggies - professionally rolled. I could eat these daily. Will be coming back for the grilled beef based on the owner's recommendation. Food is made to order - took less than 5 mins - I had mine to go and a "Thank You Gummy" in the well portioned bag was a nice touch. As for parking - it's the loop - so people giving this shop a bad review because of parking - I suspect are county folks who expect to be able to pull up in front and a red carpet automatically rolls out to meet their camo birks (I digress). You can park for free on Washington Ave and 20 - 30 steps up Melville Ave and the Shop is right there. Washington Ave is where the students live and walk daily. Do not let parking be the reason you don't treat yourself to a fantastic culinary experience. I meant to take a pic of the actual meal - but literally devoured every morsel before thinking to do so - Will snap pics on next visit soon - Believe that!!! :)

St. Louis has some excellent authentic Chinese restaurants, most of which I've tried, and my dinner here the other night was the best yet--just fantastic. Two of us shared scallops with vermicelli, salt & pepper lamb, skewers of chicken wing, tripe, and tofu-wrapped caraway--more than we needed--and it was outstanding. Very friendly service as well.

We walked in about an hour before closing on a Thursday night to a mildly full restaurant. The guy at the counter gave us some suggestions, and we accepted them all (so should you). We got the chicken fresh rolls, the curry chicken noodle bowl, and the grilled pork bahn mi. Overall, super solid food. We could have both eaten a dozen of the fresh rolls. The noodle bowl had some spring mix, and what I assume was nuac Cham, was very subtle. The bahm mi was soft and mildly crunchy with a good amount of goodies to body ratio. I only with the pork had been freshly grilled. I recommend and will stop by again next time I visit.

Absolutely delicious! Beautiful presentation. The Sichuan dishes are great for sharing, huge portions. If it has a it's fairly spicy.

Best bahn mi in St Louis! Best spring rolls in St Louis! The ingredients are fresh. Service is fast and the guys taking orders are super nice. I can’t enough nice things about The Bahn Mi Shop. Whenever I’m in the Loop I try to stop in for a sandwich. And the menu is a good size. Enough for you to have a different combination each time you go but not too big where you’re lost in the choices. 10/10! Will always recommend if you’re in the mood and in the area

Went in to the place on a whim and was so impressed. You order at the table with a QR code (gives option to split bill as well) and then a server brings your food. I ordered fried rice. A Tentacle skewer. Beef skewers. Chicken wing. A BBQ bun and potato skewers (i liked these so much i ordered some to go!) Nice place to order a bunch of stuff and split with a friend. Can't wait to go back!
